Peckham Industries Inc. (PII) is a family-run business since 1924, trusted for construction materials, products, and services in Upstate New York and Vermont. We deliver high-quality materials and custom solutions to road construction and maintenance customers. Our operations include paving, road reclamation, precast/prestressed concrete production, and multi-level parking structures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with municipal customers and internal operations teams to ensure projects are aligned with customer needs and delivered successfully.
  • Identify municipal infrastructure needs and deliver effective paving and construction solutions that address customer concerns and support long-term partnerships.
  • Produce accurate project estimates and proposals that support profitable project delivery and competitive customer pricing.
  • Ensure projects are effectively scheduled and coordinated so that crews, equipment, trucking, and materials are deployed efficiently and projects are completed on time.
  • Foster strong collaboration across operations teams to support seamless communication, planning, and execution of work.
  • Manage project financial performance by monitoring budgets, controlling costs, and maintaining accurate job cost reporting.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service by proactively addressing concerns, maintaining open communication, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company professionally while strengthening relationships with employees, customers, and the communities where projects are performed.
  • Ensure milling and paving operations meet established quality standards and project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project activities and production quantities to support operational tracking and financial reporting.
  • Continuously develop professional and technical knowledge through company training and industry education.
  • Contribute to operational improvements and organizational initiatives as assigned by management.
