Responsibilities
- Prepare construction drawings and document sets with a strong focus on technical detailing
- Apply working knowledge of landscape architectural construction and site development elements
- Review and redline drawing sets
- Conduct materials research and write technical specifications
- Support projects through construction, including site observation or construction administration
- Travel as needed, including driving
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in a design office (landscape architecture, architecture, or urban design)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Licensure or intent to pursue licensure
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to elevate the quality of construction documentation
- Organized and thoughtful in managing time, tasks, and project information
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Approaches problem-solving with curiosity and sound judgment
- Works collaboratively with designers at all levels and contributes to a positive team environment
- Takes initiative while remaining open to direction and feedback
- Comfortable participating in and leading meetings as needed
- Demonstrates accountability, reliability, and follow-through
- Positive attitude and strong sense of ownership in work
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu
- Hand sketching and visual communication skills
- 3D modeling experience (SketchUp or Rhino)
- Familiarity with Revit or other BIM software
