Senior Construction Manager- Data Center (Design and Construction)

About the role
As a Senior Construction Manager, you will often serve as the primary interface with PMA clients and lead the client and project team through a successful process of strategic real estate planning, design, and construction of new buildings, tenant improvement buildouts, and facilities assignments.
- Serve as the primary interface with clients and project teams
- Lead strategic real estate planning, design, and construction processes
- Manage data center projects in North-Central/West Texas
Responsibilities
- Lead master planning, budgeting, pre-construction, schematic design, design development, and construction documents phases
- Manage construction/transition planning to build/project activation
- Oversee project pro forma, including development budgets, operations (revenues, expenses, cash flows), and resulting financial metrics (return on cost, IRR, etc.)
- Manage project controls, project management, construction documentation, and sequencing
- Apply knowledge of alternate materials/methods, construction costs, value-engineering techniques, and building/occupancy laws and lease requirements
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and other development, design, and construction-related professionals
- Ensure successful project delivery while meeting/exceeding client expectations and deadlines
Requirements
- 8+ years of development and project management experience
- At least five years of focus directly on data center projects
- Experience as an Owner’s Representative or Project Manager representing the fiduciary interests of the real estate developer or investor
- Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Discretion in handling confidential information
