Senior Construction Manager

Responsibilities
- Assist in development of plans, schedules, and work alongside other superintendents, supervisors, administrators on project related activities.
- Actively works with the Senior Construction Manager in the management of the overall project construction scope, schedule, and budget.
- Responsible for leadership of the on-site project team management for smaller scale projects.
- Responsible for subcontractor contract management in coordination with the Senior Construction Manager.
- Aid in the change order process including proper notification, supporting data gathering/organization development for Project Manager review and processing.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Associate Construction Managers.
- Participate actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.
- Serve as Project Site Safety Leader (in absence of full time EHS Supervisor).
- Estimate cost of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to successfully manage change during a project.
- Aid in planning the execution of the startup, commissioning, and closeout processes.
- Adhere to the policies and standards set forth in our quality management practices.
Requirements
- At minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 7+ years’ experience in a construction related field managing industrial engineering and construction projects.
- Ability to read plans/drawings/specifications and interpret data.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Project Scheduling and Job Costing.
- Knowledge and familiarity with construction sequencing and planning, construction scheduling/durations, safety planning, means and methods.
- Travel required (75-100%)

- Confident communicator with the ability to manage quality, schedule, and budget for multi-discipline fast paced construction projects.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with project management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule
