Senior Construction Inspector (Paving)

Responsibilities
- Interface with contractors and attend meetings.
- Mentor or supervise other inspectors, on behalf of resident engineer, or project manager.
- Complete daily reports, measure and calculate unit price quantities.
- Cook up independent material sampling and testing.
- Monitor maintenance of traffic.
- Take and compile photographs, for tracking of daily progress.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A high school diploma
- Seven years of applicable experience
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, design plans and specifications
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Requirements
- An associate of science degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or related field
- Average proficiency with MS Word Suite
- NETTCP HMA certifications, or ability to attain within 3 months of hiring
- Hands-on experience with construction management software such as Site or Field Manager, APPIA, Procore, IPD or similar systems
- Knowledge of Bluebeam

Pay
The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 annually.

The schedule for this position is full-time.
