About the Role
Dewberry is seeking multiple Road and Bridge Senior Construction Inspectors to work on NJDOT projects in New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Perform complex quantity and engineering computations
- Conduct construction inspection on NJDOT projects
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains
- Repetitively stoop, bend, squat, and lift up to 25 lbs
- Stand for long periods on varied surfaces
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years prior road and/or bridge construction inspection experience on NJDOT projects
- NICET II, III, or IV Certification in Transportation/Highway and Bridge Construction or equivalent
- NJSAT, ACI Field Grade I Technician, ACI-CCTC, and Rutgers TCC certifications
- Knowledge of NJDOT SiteManager and experience on NJDOT Operations Projects (desirable)
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physically able to perform duties in outdoor environments

Pay
The projected hourly range for this position is $40.00–$65.00, depending on skills, experience, location, and market conditions. These ranges apply to New Jersey only.
