Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $137,496 – $198,084 annually.
Responsibilities
- Adjudicate highly complex construction defect claims with limited oversight
- Conduct thorough investigations and analysis to resolve undefined issues
- Report claim trends to senior management and underwriters
- Negotiate complex settlement packages efficiently within authority limits
- Manage and prioritize claims tasks to ensure timely resolutions and optimal outcomes
Qualifications
- Minimum of seven years' experience in construction defect claims adjudication of at least $100,000 exposure
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced insurance designations or extensive related experience can substitute degree
- Licenses in multiple jurisdictions or ability to obtain them upon hire; must include a General Adjusting License from Florida, Texas, or Wyoming
- Strong business acumen with understanding of insurance operations and profitability impact
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on relationship building
