About the role
To turn this vision into reality will take an exceptional team of up to 1,200 colleagues. The journey begins with the appointment of a Senior Conservation Ranger, joining us in summer 2026 to play a vital role in supporting the construction phase of this exciting development.
Responsibilities
- Provide supporting specialist on-site expertise throughout the construction phase, particularly in relation to Scottish conservation legislation
- Ensure all forestry, biodiversity and ecological commitments are delivered to Center Parcs' high standards
- Support environmental compliance and wildlife protection measures during site development
- Develop a detailed understanding of "as-built" specifications across your areas of responsibility
- Support the Grounds Manager in the effective day-to-day management and supervision of the Conservation team
- Ensure all activities align with company policies and legislative requirements
- Promote efficient, safe and disciplined working practices
- Help deliver an exceptional guest experience by maintaining the highest environmental standards
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Countryside and Environment or a similar field or equivalent experience
- A wide knowledge of wildlife with interest in nature interpretation
- Proficient in operating horticultural, agricultural or forestry machinery
- Full Driving Licence, held for a minimum of 6 months
- Previous supervisory experience would be desirable

Pay
Circa £30,300 per annum
Schedule
- You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
- Once the village is open, this role includes working a mix of shift patterns, on a rota basis, including some early mornings, weekends and bank holidays
- You will be required to participate in the department's call-out rota as a senior representative of the department as required
