Senior Computer Systems Analyst

About the role

DCS is searching for a performance-driven Senior Computer Systems Analyst to support US Army programs. A focus on either Analytical, Financial, logistics, engineering, technical support and/or management of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment. We’re seeking individuals who are excited to take on meaningful challenges, contribute to innovative solutions, and help shape the future of a fast-evolving mission space. This position will be supporting multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing, designing and implementing information systems.
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art storage and retrieval methods is required as well as the ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging of computer programs.
• Assessing the suitability of information systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaising with end users, hardware/software vendors and programmers in order to achieve these outcomes.
• Studying computer systems and procedures and designing information systems solutions to help systems operate more efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
• PhD from an accredited college or university in Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems with 12 years in the analysis and design of business applications on complex, large-scale systems, including experience in database management concepts within the DOD environment.
• Additional 6 years of experience, and a BA/BS, or additional 3 years and MA/MS/MBA may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Desired Skills

• Ability to obtain a secret clearance as needed.
