Senior Composites Technician

About the role

Responsible for designing, manufacturing, and testing composite materials and structures in various aerospace and automotive applications. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop new composite technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and manufacture composite components using advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Conduct tests to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new composite technologies.
• Document processes and procedures for future reference and training purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in composite materials engineering or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with composite material fabrication and testing.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to composite materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Pay

• $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
