We are seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our Compensation & Total Rewards team and help support compensation programs, workforce cost planning, and market analysis across North America. In this role, you will administer key compensation programs, provide data-driven insights, support annual planning and forecasting activities, and partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to make informed compensation decisions. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Compensation Program Administration
    • Administer and maintain core compensation programs, including merit increases, incentive plans, market adjustments, living wage initiatives, and union-related compensation programs.
    • Ensure programs are executed accurately, consistently, and in alignment with company guidelines.
    • Support annual compensation review cycles and related processes.
  • Compensation Consulting & Support
    • Partner with HR and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation-related matters.
    • Evaluate compensation requests using market data, internal guidelines, and established compensation practices.
    • Recommend solutions for routine compensation issues and support implementation of approved actions.
  • Compensation Analysis & Reporting
    • Conduct market pricing, pay equity, workforce, and compensation analyses.
    • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to support compensation decisions.
    • Identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Workforce Cost Planning & Forecasting
    • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and compensation accrual processes.
    • Validate and reconcile compensation and workforce cost data across systems.
    • Assist with workforce cost reporting and financial planning activities.
  • Program Implementation & Process Improvement
    • Support the rollout of new compensation programs and enhancements.
    • Document processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
    • Ensure compensation processes remain compliant and well-documented.
  • Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
    • Contribute to team documentation, process improvements, and knowledge sharing.
    • Support colleagues by providing expertise and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of compensation analysis experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, salary structures, incentive programs, and market pricing practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
  • Experience partnering with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience using compensation management tools such as MarketPay, CompAnalyst, BetterComp, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification or progress toward certification.
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Workday Compensation or other HRIS compensation modules.
