Senior Compensation Analyst

The Senior Compensation Analyst supports the strategic and operational delivery of compensation programs within a comprehensive Total Rewards structure. This role executes key compensation processes, delivers high-quality analytics, and ensures the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of compensation data across the enterprise.
The Senior Compensation Analyst contributes to the design and execution of Skanska USA’s compensation programs, ensuring alignment with the needs of multiple business units and compliance with established compensation governance and frameworks. They own Skanska USA’s participation in compensation surveys, deliver key components of the annual compensation cycles, and independently conduct end-to-end job evaluations and benchmarking analyses to ensure alignment with internal job architecture and external competitiveness.
This role supports the Director of Compensation in developing and maintaining key compensation infrastructure and partners with team members to ensure operational efficiency. It also contributes to the ongoing evolution of compensation practices and frameworks across the organization while strengthening the employee experience at Skanska USA.
Responsibilities
- Execute key compensation processes and deliver high-quality analytics to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
- Support the design and execution of Skanska USA’s compensation programs, aligning with business unit needs and governance frameworks.
- Own participation in compensation surveys and deliver key components of annual compensation cycles.
- Conduct end-to-end job evaluations and benchmarking analyses to ensure internal alignment and external competitiveness.
- Support the Director of Compensation in developing and maintaining compensation infrastructure.
- Partner with team members to ensure operational efficiency and execution.
- Contribute to the evolution of compensation practices and frameworks across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an Analyst or equivalent role, with experience supporting corporate compensation and incentive programs.
- Experience with non-qualified compensation programs is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience independently performing external market job evaluations within large organizations, with an understanding of internal alignment considerations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, advanced formulas required) and other Microsoft Office products.
- 2+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Workforce Compensation Module, JD Edwards, and CompAnalyst is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in highly decentralized and geographically diverse company structures.

Pay
Salary range: USD $86,800.00 – $125,000.00 per year.
