About the Role

Papa connects caring individuals with older adults and families who need non-medical support with everyday tasks and companionship. As a Papa Pal, you choose when and whether to accept visits, providing flexible, meaningful part-time engagement that fits your schedule—ideal for balancing work, school, caregiving, or personal commitments. No professional caregiving experience is required; just a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Transportation: Provide rides to local destinations.
• Non-Medical Companionship: Engage in conversation, go for walks, play games, or spend quality time together.
• In-Home Support: Offer light non-medical assistance with daily tasks such as tidying up, laundry, meal prep, and other light chores.
• Errands: Accompany individuals on grocery runs, store pick-ups, and similar outings.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Must complete a background check
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Access to a reliable vehicle (model year 2009 or newer) with active auto insurance meeting platform requirements

Pay

Earn up to $22/hr based on visit type and location (typical earnings range from $13–$17/hr with opportunities for bonuses). Actual earnings vary depending on visit type and location. Papa Pals are independent contractors, not employees of Papa, Inc.
