Health Dimensions Group is seeking an Executive Director to oversee the leadership and operations of our managed Assisted Living/Memory Care senior living community in Ellendale, MN. We focus on making lives better through hospitality, stewardship, integrity, respect, and humor.
About the role
Lead and inspire the day-to-day operations of a 33-bed community, ensuring high standards of resident care and service while driving financial and business performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for community operations, building strong relationships with residents, families, team members, and community partners.
- Lead, mentor, and support department leaders to foster accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Cultivate a culture centered on teamwork, transparency, and resident-focused service.
- Develop and manage operating budgets, monitor census trends, occupancy performance, and revenue goals.
- Drive admissions strategy and support census growth initiatives.
- Oversee labor management, expense control, and operational efficiencies.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
- Ensure continuous survey readiness and lead Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Partner closely with clinical leadership to maintain high standards of resident care and safety.
- Promote employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Monitor resident satisfaction and proactively address concerns to enhance community experience.
- Support sales and marketing initiatives to maintain strong occupancy.
- Develop relationships with local referral sources, healthcare partners, and community organizations.
- Evaluate market trends and identify opportunities for growth and increased community visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Gerontology, or related field (required).
- ALD license, or ability to obtain.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Executive Director or Administrator in senior living or long-term care.
- Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, census growth, and operational oversight.
- Working knowledge of state and federal regulations governing senior living communities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive operational performance while maintaining a resident-focused culture.
