Senior Communications Advisor
About the role
The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland seeks a subject matter expert in communication strategy to develop and lead plans for effective communication strategies, projects, and programs. This position advises key stakeholders on communication strategies and writes or reviews communication deliverables for the Bank or department across various media.
Responsibilities
- Advises key stakeholders on developing and executing effective communication strategies related to high-priority projects.
- Develops and oversees additional projects.
- Writes or reviews communication deliverables for the Bank or department across a variety of communication media.
- Develops and implements measurement strategies related to communications tools and approaches.
- Develops key relationships with and promotes ongoing collaborative partnerships with Bank and Federal Reserve System colleagues.
- Ensures web content and communication materials are maintained to keep information current and engaging.
- Serves as an expert and advisor within the organization, with in-depth expertise in communications and broad knowledge of other disciplines within other departments.
- Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on business lines or the Bank.
- Experience working in a matrixed communications environment.
Requirements
Essential qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 10 years of related work experience, or a master's degree and 7 years of related work experience. Expert-level previous experience translating complex initiatives into effective communication campaigns, advanced skills to counsel senior leadership, and extensive knowledge of project management are required.

Pay
The expected starting salary range for the Senior Communications Advisor is between $123,700 and $154,600 annually. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.
Schedule
This is a full-time, regular position.
