Senior Commissions Forecasting & Design Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Commissions Forecasting & Design Lead to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will own the forecasting and design of sales compensation programs that support go-to-market execution and financial planning. The position partners closely with FP&A, sales operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategy into clear compensation mechanics. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical rigor, a deep understanding of incentive structures, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to a range of audiences. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $115,000 – $158,000 annually Responsibilities Own the end-to-end commissions forecast process in partnership with FP&A and sales operations Produce and explain monthly, quarterly, and annual commissions forecasts Establish forecast inputs and operating rhythms with key stakeholders Assist in designing and evolving sales compensation plans across segments Translate GTM strategy into measurable compensation mechanics Build models to evaluate plan outcomes and behavioral incentives Partner with cross-functional teams to align on requirements and approvals Qualifications 6+ years in FP&A, sales compensation, or a related analytical field with ownership of commissions forecasting Experience designing or changing sales compensation plans in a complex organization Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with large datasets Deep understanding of compensation mechanics such as quotas, accelerators, and SPIFFs Ability to write clear policy language and business requirements Experience with incentive compensation management platforms such as Xactly or Anaplan Excellent communication skills to explain complex mechanics to non-specialists Benefits Health, pharmacy, optical, and dental care benefits Paid time off and sick time off Short-term and long-term disability coverage Life insurance and 401k contributions Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
