About the role

As a Senior Commercial Relationship Manager, you’ll drive growth by building meaningful partnerships with complex commercial clients. You’ll play a key role in expanding our presence through strategic business development and trusted financial guidance. This role offers the opportunity to make a strong impact while mentoring others and contributing to a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue through business development activities with existing clients and new prospects.
  • Build and manage relationships with large, complex commercial clients, including those in specialized industry verticals.
  • Actively market and develop business opportunities across commercial and industrial lending and targeted industry segments.
  • Negotiate loan terms and structure credit solutions within your authority.
  • Prepare and present detailed credit analysis and recommendations for borrowing requests.
  • Conduct credit reviews and monitor portfolio risk to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Manage ongoing credit risk by monitoring loan performance and maintaining accurate risk ratings.
  • Represent the bank in the community to build awareness and strengthen relationships.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced relationship managers and support team development.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required). An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 6 or more years of experience in commercial credit, analysis, or business development (Required).

Skills

  • Proven ability to develop and manage large, complex client relationships.
  • Excellence in relationship management, presentations, and negotiating successful outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of local markets and how to grow business within them.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to underwrite and structure commercial credits.
  • Deep knowledge of cash management products and services.
  • Understanding of federal and state regulations related to commercial lending and appraisal guidelines.

Pay

Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $151,017 - $177,667
