Senior Commercial Lender

About the role

Regent Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Lender for our Tulsa, OK location. This position is responsible for proactively soliciting and servicing prospective customers and producing commercial loans that fit with the Regent Bank Loan portfolio. Additionally, this role will generate and manage a portfolio of business and relationships while seeking new accounts through marketing and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Develops and services larger and more complex customer relationships, including promoting referrals to all areas of Regent Bank.
• Promotes the development and service of the commercial loan portfolios and is expected to meet and exceed loan and deposit goals.
• Monitors loan portfolio to maintain a high-quality asset base and supports up-to-date client files.
• Works closely with credit administration in risk rating analysis, risk rating measurements, and annual review process.
• Maintains compliance with loan policy, procedures, and documentation, including package preparation, while properly structuring, underwriting, and pricing.
• Monitors collateral and credit exceptions and past dues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in business administration or a related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in credit analysis or commercial lending.
• Experience managing complex customer relationships.

Skills

• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Expertise in commercial and real estate underwriting practices, along with knowledge of regulatory governance of commercial lending.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure of deadlines.

Physical Requirements

• Must exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Sitting for long periods.

The working conditions are generally comfortable, with minimal exposure to noise, heat, dust, and other related items. All employees are required to maintain a neat and safe work area.
