Senior Commercial Data and Insights Analyst

Description Summary: An exciting and unique opportunity to partner with a team of data & insights analysts in the Commercial Data Reporting & Insight organization. This is a highly visible role within Huntington’s Commercial Bank and will drive the vision for leveraging data to improve decision making. In this role, you will partner with the Commercial Credit Analytics Product owner to act as a liaison across business leaders, segment partners, the centralized data leadership team, IT, and Finance partners to understand their priorities and develop tools and insights to optimize performance Duties & Responsibilities Translate business partners’ data challenges into automated analytical solutions, driving the bank’s successDevelop analytical tools and resources to support strategic initiatives with insights that drive elevated performance.Leverages analytics expertise and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams within the commercial bank to help measure sales activity and opportunities.Build and modify queries using SAS, R, or Python to create data sets for reporting and analysisDesigns, builds and maintains Tableau & Power BI Dashboards and Reports.Develop and mentor peer analysts.Support Ad Hoc data requests and analysis, delivering insights to highlight areas of growth and opportunity.Continually improve process and reporting efficiency and accuracyEstablish best practices and standard definitions for Commercial reportingPartner with IT data partners to continue evolving Huntington’s data environment, improving our ability to automate and work more efficiently Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree5+ years related experience Preferred Qualifications Proficient in SQLProficient in SAS, R or PythonWorking knowledge of Tableau or similar business intelligence visualization toolsProven track record of collaborating with business partners to develop technical solutions in an agile mannerStrong data visualization and communication skills to tell a story with complex data sets in a simple wayExperience pulling, cleaning, and validating data from disparate source systemsBackground in Financial Services, particularly within Commercial Banking segment or Data organizationExperience with Salesforce.com or comparable CRMStrong Interpersonal skillsAbility to manage competing priorities in a matrix organization Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
