About the role

This role is eligible for fully remote work within the United States. You will supervise a liability claims team handling a variety of caseload sizes and complexities, ensuring high-quality and efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and encourage a liability claims team to deliver high-quality and efficient service.
• Guide claims team to handle claims in accordance with GB’s Best Practices.
• Take charge of adjuster hiring and training, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Define team goals, motivate performance, and effectively manage workloads to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Utilize Gallagher's technology to enhance your team's efficiency and overall quality of service.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, positive, and proactive manner.
• Manage multiple competing priorities, identify coaching opportunities, and position team members for successful development.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (Bachelor's Degree desired).
• Minimum of 10 years of related claims experience, with a background in General Liability, Restaurant, Retail, or Multi-Client claims.
• 5-10 years of prior leadership experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of all team member-related functions.
• Jurisdictional experience within the US.
