Senior Commercial Account Executive
Due to growth, we are looking for a Senior Commercial Account Executive to join our team. The right candidate will have a demonstrated history of success in selling SaaS, preferably in the Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Analytics space. The ability to work independently in a rapidly growing environment is important, as is the ability to work with an early-stage technical product that provides real value to both technical and non-technical audiences. A value-based sales approach and "first on the ground" experience are major advantages.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a territory of "Digital Native" Commercial accounts, with a primary focus on winning new ThoughtSpot customers.
- Generate pipeline through prospecting, making it a core business activity.
- Develop new opportunities and establish trust and credibility with end-users, influencers, and decision-makers at all levels of assigned accounts.
- Conduct product demonstrations in person and via web-based technologies.
- Manage complex sales cycles with large companies.
- Align with key partners in the territory to exceed targets.
- Track sales metrics and performance to aid personal improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ year track record of exceeding quota in a SaaS technology sales environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with business partners (internal and external) to sell technology solutions between $50K - $1M+.
- Well-spoken and poised; ability to command the attention of a room and bring a high level of energy.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence others on behalf of the customer.
- Commitment to career growth and continuous learning.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) - preferred.
- Comfortably and confidently integrate artificial intelligence into daily workflow to increase productivity and quality.
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools (industry-leading LLMs) to automate routine tasks and improve work quality.
- Experience using AI for research, content creation, and document summarization while maintaining ownership of judgment and final decisions.
- Ability to write effective prompts to get accurate and creative results from AI tools.

- Adaptability to quickly learn and implement new, emerging AI technologies.
- Critical thinking to identify when AI should be used versus when human judgment is necessary.
Schedule
Hybrid work schedule: expected in-office 3 days per week to experience the energy of the local office, balancing in-person collaboration and peer learning with flexibility.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $154,000 - $220,000 USD per year (National Range).
