About the role
Southeastern Museums Conference seeks a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. This position will be responsible for managing the organization's marketing efforts, including social media management, email campaigns, and event promotion.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the organization’s social media presence, including content creation and scheduling.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to engage with members and supporters.
- Coordinate and promote the organization’s events through various channels.
- Collaborate with the development team to support fundraising initiatives.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of the organization’s website and online platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in marketing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with social media management platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM systems and database management.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics tools.
Skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience with video editing software.

Pay
$40,000 - $45,000 annually.
