Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (VDI/AWS Workspaces)

Responsibilities

• Consult with multiple clients simultaneously to assess their needs
• Serve as a trusted advisor, aligning customer expectations with best practices
• Develop strategic roadmaps and detailed project plans based on client objectives
• Cook up alignment and set timelines with clients and project managers
• Document and present actionable recommendations to clients' senior leadership
• Translate customer requirements into estimates and design documents
• Guide Cloud Engineers during implementation of client roadmaps
• Ensure the quality of engineering outputs and overall customer satisfaction
• Support pre-sales activities by assisting with solutions design
• Mentor less experienced Cloud Engineers

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in a customer-facing consulting role
• Proven ability to develop project roadmaps and design documents
• Extensive experience with AWS WorkSpaces and AppStream
• Strong networking knowledge specific to end-user computing
• Hands-on experience with AWS VPC connectivity and Active Directory integration
• Familiarity with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and application management
• Proficiency in automation through scripting and tooling
