Daily Responsibilities

  • Build cloud security standards, reference architectures, and enterprise guardrails
  • Develop automated controls that continuously validate cloud security compliance
  • Partner with cloud platform teams to secure shared services and infrastructure
  • Design and maintain identity security solutions across cloud ecosystems
  • Implement secure patterns for API, microservice, and application deployments
  • Evaluate cloud risks and provide remediation guidance to engineering teams
  • Drive security automation initiatives that reduce manual operational overhead
  • Support compliance initiatives related to data protection and financial regulations
  • Conduct cloud architecture reviews for high-impact business initiatives
  • Enhance enterprise-wide visibility through cloud monitoring, reporting, and governance solutions

Requirements

  • Experience securing large-scale AWS and Azure environments
  • Strong understanding of cloud governance and security architecture
  • Experience implementing Zero Trust security principles
  • Deep knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, or CloudFormation
  • Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Knowledge of Regulatory frameworks and security compliance standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

Skills

  • Experience supporting large enterprise cloud transformation initiatives
  • Financial services or fintech industry experience
  • Experience securing digital customer-facing applications and APIs
  • Experience with Kubernetes, container security, and service mesh technologies
  • Experience with AWS Organizations and Azure Landing Zones
  • CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or Azure Security certifications
  • Experience working within highly regulated environments
