About the role
We have an immediate need for a versatile Software Engineer to join our team, with a specific focus on the DINO platform. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting software components across the entire development lifecycle. Your daily activities will include feature implementation, comprehensive testing, and seamless integration with COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries operating within Linux environments.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, plus 5+ years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience
- OR Master’s Degree in a related field, plus 3+ years of specialized analytical experience
- OR High School Diploma / GED, plus 7+ years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree

Required Skills
- Python Development: Recent software development experience using Python (3.x) in Linux environments
- Linux & Scripting: Experience using the Linux CLI, standard system utilities, and developing Bash scripts for process automation
- NoSQL Datastores: Direct experience with NoSQL database technologies, specifically MongoDB
- Containerization: Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or containerd
- CI/CD Pipelines: Experience applying CI/CD principles and tools, specifically GitLab CI
- Container Orchestration & Helm: Familiarity with container orchestration in Kubernetes and utilizing Helm Charts to deploy containerized services
- Messaging & Automation: Familiarity with messaging frameworks (e.g., RabbitMQ) and Infrastructure as Code concepts/tools (e.g., Ansible)
- Version Control: Proficiency using the Git source control system for code management and team collaboration
Desired Skills
- Relational Databases: Experience working with SQL database engines, specifically PostgreSQL
- Agile Tooling: Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite, including Jira and Confluence

Pay
The annual base salary range for this role is $178,000-$210,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
