Senior Cloud Engineer - TS/SCI

Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure including compute (VMs, scale sets), storage, virtual networking, and platform services in commercial and/or Government environments.

You will be the program's go-to expert for all things cloud, from landing zone design and identity to migration, automation, security compliance, and FinOps support. This is your opportunity to shape a dynamic hybrid cloud environment from the ground up on a program that directly supports national security missions as part of a newly formed and growing cyber solutions line of business.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 4+ years of hands-on cloud engineering
• Certified Cloud Solutions Architect in one or more primary CSP environments
• Deep expertise in IaaS and core platform services: virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, security, identity, policy, and RBAC
• Experience designing and operating hybrid environments, including hybrid identity and connectivity
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automation
• Active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility, may require a polygraph

Desired Skills

• Experience with classified cloud regions
• Experience applying DISA Cloud Computing SRG, FedRAMP, and DoD Impact Level (IL4/IL5/IL6/IL7) requirements
• Experience supporting RMF authorization packages (eMASS/XACTA) and security assessments in DoD/IC environments
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (AKS, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (DevOps, GitLab)
• Experience with cloud security automation
• Experience working in SCIF or air gapped environments and with disconnected/limited-connectivity cloud patterns
• CISSP or CCSP certification
• Experience with the application of AI tools in support of cloud orchestration, instrumentation, and operational evaluation

Security Clearance Requirement

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team. Pay

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
