Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: 5+ years Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to provide technical support, engineering, and analysis for cloud infrastructure project and production environments. This position will support the implementation, deployment, administration, monitoring, testing, and continuous improvement of cloud-based systems and services. The Senior Cloud Engineer will independently analyze complex technical challenges, develop approaches and solutions, and provide recommendations for cloud infrastructure upgrades and improvements. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support and analysis for cloud infrastructure project and production environments. Design, implement, deploy, configure, administer, and maintain cloud-based environments and services. Analyze cloud infrastructure and develop recommendations for upgrades, improvements, and technical solutions. Independently evaluate and resolve difficult cloud infrastructure and operational problems. Monitor, plan, measure, and test new cloud-based products and services. Support cloud-based software implementation and deployment activities. Support and administer SaaS and PaaS environments and related cloud technologies. Perform and support configuration management and software distribution activities. Support storage area networks and cloud-based storage environments. Support network management and administration within cloud environments. Support server management and administration within cloud-based environments. Support cloud-based mainframe management activities, as applicable. Monitor cloud infrastructure and identify opportunities to improve system reliability, performance, and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure, configuration, deployment, network, server, and system issues. Plan and support testing and implementation of new cloud products, services, configurations, and infrastructure changes. Develop technical solutions and independently determine appropriate approaches to assigned cloud infrastructure challenges. Develop and maintain technical documentation related to cloud environments, configurations, implementations, and operational procedures. Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to support cloud infrastructure projects and production operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience supporting cloud infrastructure in project and production environments. Experience with cloud implementation, deployment, configuration, administration, and operations. Experience working with cloud-based technologies, products, and services. Experience supporting SaaS and/or PaaS environments. Experience with configuration management and software deployment/distribution. Knowledge of network, server, and storage management within cloud environments. Experience monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, and improving cloud-based products and services. Ability to independently analyze and resolve difficult technical problems. Ability to develop technical approaches, solutions, and cloud infrastructure improvement recommendations.
