Senior Cloud Engineer

About the role

The Senior Cloud Operations Engineer is responsible for the deployment, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the company’s Azure infrastructure supporting high-volume wagering and gaming systems. This role focuses on infrastructure reliability, operational stability, monitoring, and release management rather than application development.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure supporting production systems
• Manage services including:
  • Azure App Services
  • Azure SQL
  • CosmosDB
  • Azure Redis
  • Azure Storage
  • Azure Front Door
• Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization
• Respond to production incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Maintain deployment pipelines and environment configurations
• Coordinate production releases with development teams
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Perform infrastructure scaling and performance optimization
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks
• Collaborate with development and security teams to maintain stable production environments

Pay

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
