About the role
The company is an Automotive Manufacturer and this is a hybrid role out of Austin, TX. The hybrid schedule is 3 days in office, 2 days from home.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters
- Develop self-service PaaS features
- Ensure operational excellence in a hybrid environment
- Designing secure and efficient networking between environments
- Handling huge volumes of sensor data (video, lidar, telemetry)
- Supporting ML pipelines (training, validation, deployment)
- Bridging edge (vehicle) systems with cloud infrastructure
- Ensuring low-latency and high-reliability systems for safety-critical applications
- Integrating cloud workloads with on-prem or edge compute (vehicles, data centers)
Requirements
- Strong skills in Kubernetes, GCP, and DevOps principles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred, but not required
