Senior Cloud Developer

About the Role

Fusion Technology is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer to develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks. You will implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices and support a robust, hybrid cloud infrastructure that provides the necessary backbone for delivering high-bandwidth services.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks to enable PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS
• Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices
• Analyze applications and make recommendations for migration to cloud environments
• Provide strategies for failure/recovery and cost optimization of cloud services
• Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud
• Debug cloud stacks and manage policies for the use of cloud services
• Establish secure cloud environments and ensure appropriate availability/uptime design
• Work independently designing and developing new software products for cloud environments
• Enhance existing cloud software for performance and scalability
• Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
• Support the multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret)
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure seamless integration

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI and CI Polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 8 years of experience in software development with 3 years focused on cloud technologies (experience can be accepted in lieu of degree)
• AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S cloud platforms
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Cloud security implementation
• Serverless computing (Lambda, S3)
• Database services (RDS, DynamoDB)
• Cloud networking and VPC configuration
• CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments
• Monitoring and logging solutions
• Python, .NET C#, or other development languages
• DevSecOps practices and tools
• Microservices architecture

• Elasticsearch, Splunk, and other data platforms
• SAFe Agile methodologies
• Cost optimization techniques for cloud resources
