Senior Clinical Therapist - BHSL Northwest Arkansas Clinic
Summary of Job Duties
Join our team as a Senior Clinical Therapist at the Behavioral Health Service Line (BHSL) Northwest Arkansas Clinic! In this vital role, you'll provide direct clinical care to patients, including diagnostic assessments, individual, family, and group therapy, as well as crisis intervention, all utilizing evidence-based approaches. You'll work closely with the Program Manager and Clinic Medical Director to make a meaningful impact on our community's mental health.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Current and valid license by the Arkansas Professional Board - Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Ability to pass Child Abuse and Neglect Registry check, State Police background check, and drug screen.
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Competence in treatment planning, mental health diagnosis, and treatment. Adaptable technological skills for clinical documentation and care coordination. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to ensure continuity of care and professional licensure. Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and supervisors.
- Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience providing a range of therapy modalities in an outpatient setting. One (1) year of direct clinical outpatient behavioral health experience.
Additional Information
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct clinical care: diagnostic assessments, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention using evidence-based modalities.
- Deliver indirect services and administrative duties aligned with clinic policies and procedures.
- Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor and other treatment team members to coordinate care.
- Complete clinical and administrative documentation in compliance with policies, procedures, and licensure requirements.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and continuing education to maintain quality of care and licensure.
- Adapt to technologized workflows and utilize digital tools to enhance care delivery and documentation.
Salary Information
