Senior Clinical Scientist

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Clinical Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This remote role will support the scientific execution of clinical studies with a strong focus on oncology development and medical monitoring. The position partners closely with clinical leadership and study stakeholders to help shape trial design, endpoints, and study-level scientific strategy. You will also contribute to investigator-facing communications, presentation materials, and cross-functional planning across key study functions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead or support clinical studies, ensuring scientific execution of protocols
• Serve as the clinical point of contact for scientific inquiries from stakeholders
• Collaborate on trial design and endpoint development with clinical leadership
• Lead the medical monitoring team and develop the Medical Monitoring Plan
• Coordinate planning for lab, bio specimen, and imaging specifications
• Prepare scientific presentations and represent the study at Investigator Meetings
• Mentor junior Clinical Scientists as needed

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Life Sciences with 7+ years of clinical research experience, or MS/PhD with 5+ years of experience
• Significant clinical development experience, more than 11 years, if no degree in Life Sciences
• Minimum 2 years as a lead Clinical Scientist in pharmaceutical or clinical drug development
• Medical monitoring experience required
• Oncology experience required
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
