Senior Clinical Research Coordinator - Neuroscience Research

About the role

Independently coordinates research and administrative tasks in support of one or more research studies. Works with study investigators and supervisor to address study-related issues. Backs up other coordinators as needed. Supports department financial performance through budgeting, billing, and other tasks as directed. May develop specialized research instruments and assist in the preparation of scientific manuscripts or presentations.

Occasional after-hours support, on-call work, and overnight business travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research and administrative tasks for one or more studies.
• Collaborate with study investigators and supervisor to resolve study-related issues.
• Provide backup support to other coordinators.
• Support department financial performance through budgeting and billing.
• Develop specialized research instruments as needed.
• Assist in preparing scientific manuscripts or presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Healthcare, or related field — or significant experience in research coordination that may substitute for educational requirements.
• Within 60 days of hire: Washington Medical Assistant Registration.
• 5 years of experience in a related area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or similar professional research certification upon hire.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $37.17 - $57.71 per hour. These amounts reflect the base pay range; additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full-time, day shift. Hybrid workplace arrangement.
