Senior Clinical Monitoring Lead

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Clinical Monitoring Lead to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will support clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a life sciences environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Site Managers in site monitoring activities
• Review monitoring visit reports for accuracy and compliance with protocols
• Ensure application of risk-based monitoring strategies across studies
• Track and report on site performance and issue resolution
• Supervise, coach, and mentor Site Managers and conduct performance reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of clinical research experience, including at least 3 years as a CRA
• Minimum of 5 years in CRA management, mentoring, or monitoring oversight
• Strong understanding of ICH-GCP, FDA/EMA regulations, and global clinical trial guidelines
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Pay

$162,000 – $223,000 annually
