In partnership with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), we deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient oncology services, ensuring patients have seamless access to advanced treatments, specialized expertise, clinical research, and supportive care throughout every stage of their cancer journey. Accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, our Center for Cancer Care upholds the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient outcomes while fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for cancer services aligned with system priorities.
  • Lead growth initiatives, including service line expansion, outreach programs, and partnerships.
  • Identify emerging trends in oncology care and integrate evidence-based innovations.
  • Collaborate with physician leadership to enhance clinical service lines (medical, surgical, radiation oncology).
  • Direct daily operations across the Cancer Center, including infusion, medical and radiation oncology, navigation, and supportive services.
  • Ensure efficient patient flow, access to care, and high patient satisfaction.
  • Optimize productivity, staffing models, and resource utilization.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., DNV, CoC, NAPBC).
  • Monitor and improve clinical outcomes, patient safety indicators, and quality metrics.
  • Promote evidence-based practice and standardization of care pathways.
  • Drive accreditation readiness and maintenance for oncology programs.
  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets.
  • Drive financial performance, including revenue cycle optimization and cost containment strategies.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to inform decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and accountability for multidisciplinary teams.
  • Foster a culture of engagement, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
  • Promote shared governance and interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Champion a patient-centered approach, ensuring compassionate and culturally competent care.
  • Enhance patient experience outcomes and engagement.
  • Build relationships with community partners and promote cancer prevention and education initiatives.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree required (Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or related field).
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Provider (NP) licensure in the state of NH.
  • Oncology Certification (OCN, AOCN, AOCNP, etc.).
  • Leadership certification (NEA-BC, FACHE, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in oncology services.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex healthcare operations and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in academic, community, or integrated health system cancer programs preferred.
  • Proven track record in program growth, quality improvement, and financial management.

Schedule

Full Time, Day Shift M-F, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
