About the role
This role is onsite in NYC, in our SoHo office.
Responsibilities
- Act as a client-facing investment expert—explaining our philosophy, portfolio construction, and platform capabilities
- Partner with advisors to deeply understand their clients’ objectives, constraints, and preferences
- Analyze portfolios for risk, attribution, tax efficiency, and performance alignment
- Create impactful investment content—proposals, presentations, commentary, and thought leadership
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to turn advisor feedback into scalable solutions
- Share trends and insights from the field with the CIO and broader team to guide investment strategy, roadmap and communications
Requirements
- Experience
- 5+ years in wealth or investment management, ideally focused on asset allocation, portfolio construction, attribution, or security selection
- Strong grasp of modern portfolio techniques: direct indexing, tax-loss harvesting, factor investing, optimization, and model portfolios
- Proven success working with financial advisors; deep understanding of their models, priorities, and pain points
- Skilled at translating complex strategies into clear, actionable client narratives
- Excellent communicator—written, verbal, one-on-one, and in group settings
- Experience developing and delivering custom investment proposals
- Familiar with advisor tech stacks: CRM, portfolio management tools, and Bloomberg
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data-driven investment analysis

- Education
- Undergraduate degree is required
- CFA Institute Charterholder is preferred

Pay
Vise expects the salary range for this position to be $180,000 - $200,000 per year, plus a competitive equity package. Your actual compensation will be determined based on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
