Role Responsibilities
- Reducing defectivity
- Reducing cycle time
- Improving tool utilization and availability
- Identification and reduction of recurrent machine faults
- Reducing cost
- Scrap reduction and yield improvement
- Supporting development activities
- Developing and writing specifications
- Implementation of Six-Sigma statistical process control methods
- Capacity planning and modeling
- Participating in and/or leading cross-functional and lean activity teams
- Training others
Key challenges
- Ability to work in a high volume 24x7 manufacturing environment
- Ability to work individually, in small work groups or larger teams
- Ability to deal with multiple issues and sliding priorities
- Self-motivated; able to take initiative, self-generate projects, and effectively prioritize work
- Willing to adjust work schedule as needed to support factory priorities

Job Qualifications
- BS or MS in an engineering or science discipline
- 7+ years of experience in process engineering in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred
- Previous experience in Cleans process role preferred
- Previous experience with the following toolsets is highly desirable:
- SCP9400
- WS-820L
- Akrion GAMA wet benches
- Semitool SST, SAT, RADR batch solvent cleaning systems
- Screen 80B/80EX spray tools
- FSI Mercury/Zeta
- Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret equipment and process performance data and produce timely action plans to resolve recurring failures
- Demonstrated presentation skills, including the ability to train others and present complex datasets, process issues, and solutions to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills, capable of applying logic to isolate and resolve problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with manufacturing and equipment engineering to deal with issues and priorities
- Good foundational problem-solving skills with creative solutions and out-of-the-box thinking
- Self-motivated; able to take initiative and effectively prioritize work for self
- A strong desire to help create a positive, winning, world class working environment
- Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing methods is highly desirable
