Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigations by interviewing involved parties, collecting documentation, and securing evidence to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
  • Engage independent experts, adjusters, and medical examiners as needed.
  • Assess policy coverage, establish and adjust reserves, and negotiate claim settlements within authority limits.
  • Cookordination litigation activities, attend trials, and ensure timely, cost-effective resolutions.
  • Support team members with technical guidance, mentor new staff, and participate in quality reviews and claim-related meetings.
  • Handle field investigations, participate in mediations, arbitrations, and assist with closed file reviews.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and investigative skills.
  • Leadership ability, effective time management, and resource organization.
  • Advanced knowledge of claims handling, legal liability, insurance policies, and tort laws.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training plus 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Required licenses, with eligibility for remote or onsite work depending on location.
