Senior Claims Refund Analyst (Remote)

About the role

This is a remote, standard desk role that requires extended periods of sitting and computer work. The Senior Refund Analyst coordinates and processes all refunds received on claims.

Responsibilities

• Log, track, and process all refunds received.
• Sort and copy paperwork for refunds when applicable.
• Work with other claim department personnel to determine the appropriateness of refunds.
• Provide monthly reports regarding processing errors that result in unsolicited refunds.
• Track overpayment projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of claims processing experience, preferably on the QicLink claims processing system.
• Adjustment experience is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to easily learn other data systems.
• Reliable internet service with speeds of at least 100Mbps download/25Mbps upload (cable broadband or fiber optic).
