Senior Claims Counsel - Title Insurance (Remote)

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management within the Real Estate & Construction space. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations, strengthening responsible execution, improving decision-making, and supporting sustainable growth.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Investigate claims to determine coverage and assess loss
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, opposing counsel, and third parties
• Represent the company in court and other legal proceedings
• Manage and oversee claim budgets and litigation expenses
• Direct and manage outside counsel during litigation
• Identify recovery sources related to claims

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in real estate matters including title insurance and escrow
• Strong litigation, mediation, and arbitration experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven negotiation and organizational skills
• Licensed attorney in good standing in any U.S. state
• Ability to independently develop and implement resolution strategies

Pay

$129,300 – $172,300 annually
