Senior Claims Adjuster, General Liability
About the role
At Applied Underwriters, Inc., a global risk services company, we are seeking an experienced Commercial General Liability Claims Adjuster. The ideal candidate should be adept at managing complex coverage, liability, and legal issues within claims, using strong communication, investigation, and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of commercial general liability claims
- Use strong communication, investigation, and negotiation skills to resolve claims
- Appreciate the sensitive nature of complex liability claims
- Have extensive knowledge on policy interpretation and negligence standards
Requirements
- At least 2 years of general liability claims adjusting experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
