Senior Civil Engineer - Municipal Projects

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer - Municipal Projects to join the team of a leader in the Staffing space. This role will focus on delivering civil engineering expertise for municipal projects, with an emphasis on site design, grading, utilities, and erosion control. The Senior Civil Engineer will provide technical leadership on complex assignments while supporting project execution, quality assurance, and team development. This position also partners across project teams to help ensure plans and deliverables meet high standards and project needs. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering work on complex projects
• Execute QA/QC plans to ensure quality standards are met
• Mentor and train team members in technical design
• Provide project management support as needed
• Conduct thorough reviews of plans and deliverables
• Advise on challenging projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of related Civil Engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with at least four years supervising technical personnel
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, and erosion control
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D

Pay

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually
