Responsibilities
- Lead site civil design projects for markets including Federal, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, and Industrial.
- Coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary design team throughout the entire project lifecycle—from planning through construction administration.
- Develop construction drawings, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations.
- Review shop drawings during construction.
- Lead a team of engineers and CAD professionals.
- Deliver high-quality, technically sound civil site designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of design experience managing various civil/site design projects.
- Professional Engineering (PE or P.Eng) license recognized by the licensing board for the position’s location.
- Project Engineering and Project Management experience.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and strong leadership skills.
- Commitment to active participation in our employee-owned culture.
- US naturalized citizenship (required due to client contract requirements).
- Subject to a governmental background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft suite applications, MicroStation, InRoads, and other civil engineering software.
- Experience with Maryland, Virginia, and DC stormwater permitting.
- Expertise in site development and design of building-related site civil elements (grading, utilities, storm drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control).
- Preference given to candidates currently residing in the Mid-Atlantic (VA/MD/DC) area.

Pay
- Fulton, MD: $129,360 – $184,800
- Arlington, VA: $141,120 – $201,600
- Newport News, VA: $117,600 – $168,000
- Virginia Beach, VA: $117,600 – $168,000
Schedule
Full-time, regular employee status.
Locations: Arlington, VA (primary); Newport News, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; Fulton, MD.
