Senior Civil Engineer (12+ yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, technically minded Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager with twelve plus years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of challenging projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple, concurrent projects
• Leading design team efforts
• Succeeding in project budgeting and scheduling
• Interfacing with a multi-discipline design team
• Mentoring junior staff
• Client management
• Technical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping documents, preparation and processing of civil construction documents, and earthwork calculations
• Stormwater experience in San Diego County preferred
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil
• Specification preparation experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Foster long-term client relationships
• Excellent time management skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required
• Registration in California preferred
• Minimum of 12 years of professional land development experience in the design of life sciences, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal, and/or Federal projects
• Experience including: Managing multiple, concurrent projects, Leading design team efforts, Successfully managing project budgets and schedules, Interfacing with a multi-discipline design team, Mentoring junior staff, Client management, Technical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, Technical studies, mapping documents, preparation and processing of civil construction documents, and earthwork calculations, Stormwater experience in San Diego County preferred, Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil, Specification preparation experience preferred, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Ability to foster long term client relationships, Excellent time management skills

Pay

Expected Base Salary: $120,000.00 to $160,000.00 based on experience.

Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.

Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
