Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing group, and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

  • Conceptualize initial civil design for land/site development
  • Prepare grading plans
  • Perform earthwork and drainage/stormwater calculations
  • Provide erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans and support permit approval
  • Research and adhere to local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements for design and construction in any given area
  • Perform stormwater analysis and modeling in software applications, such as StormCAD, CivilStorm

Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will:

  • Work on site development, site master planning and site selection
  • Understand underground utility routing and site space planning
  • Analyze and design hydrology for storm drain systems
  • Analyze and design gravitational wastewater systems
  • Develop final grading plans including cut and fill analysis and earthwork balancing
  • Research and adhere to local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements for design and construction in any given area
  • Perform stormwater analysis and modeling in software applications, such as StormCAD, CivilStorm

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE license or ability to get licensed within 6 months
  • 15 or more years of engineering experience, including extensive related project experience
  • Strong working knowledge and experience in analyzing and designing all aspects of medium to large scale industrial developments
  • Demonstrated experience with all design modules of AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience preparing, assembling, and reviewing construction drawings and technical specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Able to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
  • Experience with Bluebeam and Navisworks preferred

Base Salary Range: $132,900.00 to $174,450.00
