Senior Category Manager

About the role

Cintas is seeking a Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing to set the product/supply strategy and total cost management to meet the service/product needs of our Cintas locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Category Managers and drive employee-partner development
• Perform market and data analysis to create and manage Sourcing strategies
• Apply critical negotiating skills on cost control and reduction with current and prospective suppliers
• Administer the team and manage supplier contracts
• Continuously evaluate supplier performance relative to business needs and market conditions
• Create a cross-functional work environment to engage key stakeholders, including Cintas locations utilizing designated suppliers and other internal departments involved in establishing strategies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
• 2 years of Supply Chain experience
• 5 years of sourcing/purchasing experience
• Experience in management and development of a team
