Senior C++ Software Engineer

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team responsible for developing and supporting infrastructure tools used by design engineers for building and verifying architectural, RTL, and gate-level designs.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team to build reliable, scalable, and high-performance software that is easy to use by hundreds of engineers worldwide.
• Develop software tools in C++/Golang to analyze and construct chip designs described in C++, Verilog, or domain-specific languages (DSLs).
• Research and develop software solutions to allow greater efficiency in architecture, hardware, and software teams.
• Optimize the daily workflows of the world's top chip modelers and designers.

Requirements

• Strong experience with C++ or Golang, Unix/Linux
• Solid understanding of algorithms, computer architecture, and computer science theory
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of software development experience
• Flexibility/adaptability for working in a global and dynamic environment with different frameworks and requirements

Qualifications

• Background with compiler development and AST analysis
• Experience with relational databases such as SQLite
• A love for engineering and passion for what you do

Benefits

• Base salary range: $184,000 - $287,500 for Level 4, and $224,000 - $356,500 for Level 5
• Eligible for equity and benefits
