Responsibilities

  • Manage RFQs, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders for goods and services in a timely manner.
  • Support procurement activities by applying knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Interpret and manage procurement-related documents, including Incoterms, supply agreements, price lists, catalogs, requisitions, vendor quotes, and invoices.
  • Lead competitive sourcing and tendering activities in alignment with internal stakeholders and category managers.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals from commercial, pricing, and contractual perspectives to support sound business decisions.
  • Negotiate supplier terms and conditions and finalize contracts in accordance with internal policies and governance standards.
  • Manage and develop the supplier base, including onboarding, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Generate and maintain reports using SAP and Microsoft tools to support procurement analysis and decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain a strong customer service focus to support internal and external partners.
  • Perform calculations related to payment terms, discounts, and pricing structures as needed.
  • Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required (preferably Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Marketing) or at least 5 years of related experience in a related position.
  • 8–10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) preferred.
  • Strong commercial judgment, analytical skills, and a structured, process-driven approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects is a plus.
  • Technical, mechanical, or chemical aptitude is a plus.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)3, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
