Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the procurement for our culinary department including large industrial appliances and merchandising equipment, to small wares like spatulas, whisks, and plates.
- Collaborate with our chefs and other stakeholders (including the catering, events, facilities, and accounting teams).
- Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with a variety of vendors.
Requirements
- Experience with Excel and Access is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to relocate to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Qualifications
- Experience with Epic culinary department procurement is preferred.
- Knowledge of local and national suppliers is beneficial.
- Ability to source locally and balance quality, sustainability, and cost.
Skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of sustainable sourcing practices.
