Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the procurement for our culinary department including large industrial appliances and merchandising equipment, to small wares like spatulas, whisks, and plates.
- Collaborate with chefs and other stakeholders (including the catering, events, facilities, and accounting teams).
- Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with a variety of vendors.
- Source locally whenever possible and work with a variety of purveyors, from local farmers to national wholesalers.
Requirements
- Experience with Excel and Access.
- Willingness to relocate to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Qualifications
- Equipment procurement experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
